E.C.L 100 Fence Stain is an acrylic based finish especially designed for rough sawn timber. It also may be used on dressed timber.
100 ECL 100 Acrylic Fence Stain is a water based stain based on an acrylic modified co-polymer emulsion and permanent oxide colours. The product contains fungicides for timber protection and is ideal to be used on the rough sawn timber typically used on timber fences. 100 ECL100 Acrylic Fence Stain exhibits good flow properties for ease of application combined with excellent coverage, quick drying and good durability.

Shelf Life: Minimum 2 years.
Toxicity: Non hazardous waterborne paint formulated without added lead or mercury.
VOC content: 6g/L for Redwood as per EC-07-07 and APAS definition of Volatile Organic Compound.
Results may vary slightly for the other colours.
Volume Solids: 7.5% for Redwood.
Wet Film Thickness: Observe theoretical coverage figures when applying 100 ECL100 Acrylic Fence Stain.
Dry Film Thickness Designed to penetrate the timber to enhance the grain.
Coverage: Up to 8 m²/L for rough sawn timber.

Substrate Preparation Instructions: The surface should be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and other contaminants. 100 ECL100 Acrylic Fence Stain is designed for unpainted surfaces only. Not suitable for fences made from materials other than fencing grade timber.

Recommended Application Methods & Techniques: Mix the contents in the can thoroughly before and during use. Apply in full, even coats. Thin, if required for ease of application in hot or windy conditions or on very porous substrates, with up to 5% water.
