A premium grade, plaster based adhesive for bonding GIB-cove to plasterboard surfaces.

It may also be used for laminating plasterboard, reinforcing plasterboard joints by back-blocking and for direct bonding of plasterboard to masonry and concrete walls.

Available in 20kg bags. Coverage is approximately 60-70m per 20kg when fixing cove and 30-40m² plasterboard when direct bonding to masonry.

Time to set:

GIB Cove bond 45: 40-55 minutes
GIB Cove bond 90: 90-110 minutes

The drying time of GIB cove bond will vary depending on temperature and weather conditions, however, 24 hours during normal conditions is usually sufficient.

Water, air and surface temperatures above 10ºC should be maintained until the compound is completely dry.
