Transomarine 4:1 Epoxy Resin
Use on: timber surfaces
4.21 Epoxy Resin is specifically designed as a laminating and sheathing resin and a general purpose adhesive for the marine, and other associated industries. With the latest developments in Epoxy technology the 4:1 system offers excellent wet-out characteristics giving improved workability. Ideally suited for use with fiberglass cloths this system provides a waterproof shield and superior protection of timber substrates.
– 2 types of hardener available: Winter and Summer (Please state which you would prefer when ordering)
– Winter Hardener ensures quick cure times at lower temperatures. (Used summer for longer working times in winter)
– Summer Hardener is used for conditions (above 15C) where standard working times are required but still providing an overnight cure.
Mix in small quantities as the resin temperature rises.
Extenders for epoxy resin –
Glue Powder mix with 4:1 Epoxy resin to increase Viscosity to a workable glue without sacrificing the strength of the end product.
Filling & Fairing powder mix with 4:1 Epoxy Resin to obtain a workable cream which displays excellent working and sanding properties
